It’s Good Friday and it’s time to share some good music with you, starting with this album called T H E B E A S T by planet nowhere. Now, this is quite an interesting record, for one the sound of the music often varies per track from minimalistic ambience to more abstract experimentalism. planet nowhere is definitely looking for new sounds and new ways to create his music and he succeeds most of the time. While I admit that the synth and drum production could be a bit fatter and more polished, the unique progression from synth patterns, to walkie-talkie records to Noise bursts creates an interesting new kind of aural journey on this record. I’m looking foward to planet nowhere’s future works and hope to see him progress in his production quality and sound design more. Key tracks on this album are the multipart track under the sign of the Anonymous Order/ phantom limbs/ shewolves and the great Ambient / Field Recordings blend in Delian Sirens which sounds very promising of future music to come.
